A Satin Bowerbird comes by for lunch

This is either a female or juvenile male, judging by the colour of the plumage.

It was wandering along the side of the road outside the property but got shy when I came to take a photo.

They like to nest in a hole in an embankment, and the gap beside the drainage pipe is apparently big enough.

Grey Butcherbird

Grey Butcherbird (Cracticus torquatus), found in forested areas and parkland all over southern Australia and parts of the northern coasts. This one has come looking for dog bones to pic at the meat.

New resident of the garden...

This is one of two Ring-tailed Possums that appear to be living somewhere in the garden or very nearby:

Unfortunately there's a branch in the way, but they get so easily disturbed that I took the photo anyway rather than scare the bird away. It was looking for seed in the nearby banksias.
